Abhaile Arís has successfully obtained funding through Donegal Local Development Company to employ a consultant to produce a scoping document looking at the possibility of obtaining funding for the formation of a construction company, the aim of which would be to sustain the Abhaile Arís project through profits made. As a result of the consultants findings, Abhaile Arís are currently putting together an application to INTERREG IIIA for funding based on a cross border project involving another ex-prisoner group in Strabane. It is envisaged that the construction company will employ the skills of the target groups of both projects.
