‘Discovering our past together’ seminar


As part of the organising work for the above seminar I met with the three principles of the second level schools in Letterkenny namely, the Convent Grammar, St Eunans and the Tech on the Kilmacrennan Road.

I outlined the nature of the Abhaile Aris project and the work we are involved in. I gave each of the principles a run down on the seminar and what we hoped to achieve from it and the part I would like their schools to participate in also.

I have to say I was given the utmost courtesy and assured of their support for the seminar the difficulty was that it coincided with examination time and that would pose a problem for the students we were looking to attend the seminar. I am now in the process of writing to LYIT to see if they would be interested in attending.
